Lamborghini Gallardo

The Lamborghini Gallardo is a top of the line sports car built by Lamborghini. The Gallardo is the most produced model to date, with over 10,000 built in its first seven years in production. This car is named especially after a famous breed of fighting bull.
The Gallardo offers two different choices for transmissions, a six speed manual transmission, and an advanced six speed electro- hydraulically controlled semi automatic robotized manual, which is abbreviated to the "E-gear". The E-gear allows the driver to make shifts much faster than a manual transmission would. This can be controlled via paddles behind the steering wheel or changed into automatic mode.
Lamborghini released a new spyder version in january 2006 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Lamborghini considers the spyder an entirely new model, with a 513 HP engine and a lower-ratio manual transmission, The Gallardo Spyder comes with a fully retractable soft top.
